Delightfully Delicious Dessert

Nanaimo BarThis was my first attempt at making these as they were requested by the birthday girl. Unfortunately I didn't get around to making them until yesterday, Oct. 4th. I have to say that they turned out pretty darn good though not quite as good as my mother-inlaw's. Click here for the recipe I used and a short history of how these treats came to be. When making them I'd suggest following the recipe as is for the bottom layer, and then doubling both the filling and top layers. Enjoy!

And the egg you fried me for breakfast on my birthday was incredible! Seriously, SO GOOD. Better than mine! See? I TOLD you that you could do it. You didn't know what a good cook/baker you were until you tried, eh??
