Christmas 2007

We got a new camera for Christmas, the Canon Digital Rebel XTi, and here's one of the first pictures from it. We're looking forward to getting a LOT of use from this camera. It's our first digital SLR and from the reading up I've done it should be an excellent piece of equipment.

Local Celebrity

 

Laura with T.J. Oshie. He's a 1st round draft pick (24th overall in 2005) for the St. Louis Blues. He grew up here in Washington and spent a lot of his young hockey career at Seattle Junior. He currently plays for the University of North Dakota and was here visiting for the Christmas holidays.

Poipu Beach area on the southern part of the island. We snorkeled here and the fish were beautiful. Next time we'll have to take some underwater pictures.

Fresh Ink

 

I guess this is my first impulse tattoo. We were vacationing in Hawaii this past week and I just had to get a tattoo to commemorate the trip. I had been thinking about getting a koi at some point and this seemed like the perfect time.
