Crazy

Only 11 years since my last post. I'm doing pretty good keeping up with this! Since then I've gotten divorced, in 2015, and remarried in 2022. Perhaps I'll start blogging here again. We'll just have to see.

Really?

Has it really been over 3 years since I've posted here? I guess it has. Much has happened in the last 3 years, not the least of which is my joining a band named Wycked Sensation! Our first gig is booked for January 4th, 2014 at Flight's Pub in Everett, WA. I absolutely cannot wait, it's going to be a blast! I'd like to get back to writing a bit on here, so we'll see how it goes.

Sucks. I'm so sick of Christmas stuff being put up earlier and earlier each year. I love Christmas as much as the next person, but come on people, lets get through Thanksgiving first! This cartoon pretty much sums it up.

It's, unfortunately, official

Super Joe Sakic formally announced his retirement today. What a major bummer. Joe is the epitome of a professional athlete and his retirement is a great loss to professional sports in general and hockey specifically. He is a fierce competitor and plays the game with intensity, honor and integrity. If ever there was a professional athlete that should be looked up to as a role model, Joe Sakic is it. We're sorry to see you go, Joe. But we're also looking forward to how you will continue to be a part of and influence hockey in the years to come!
