I went to the Seattle Jr. Totems vs. Helena Bighorns from Montana tonight at Olympic View Arena. The tempo of the game was pretty good and the Totems came out on top. I arrived here with no problems. Flight was good. Now I wait 4 hours for my flight to Geneva. The weather here is overcast and rainy. Cloud ceiling is about 1000 ft. The seatbacks on the flight all had lcd screens and had a video feed from cameras on the plane. I was able to watch our approach and landing from the downward looking camera. That was pretty cool!

Today Princess learned how to ride a two wheeler. She worked at it a bit last night for about an hour, and then got right back to it this morning. After a couple of tries she was riding about with no problem. Now we only have one member of the family left, Cryptic, who cannot ride a bike. It's kinda hard to believe he'll be 16 in November and still has no interest in learning to ride.

As expected, the Colorado Avalanche advance in the first round of the 2008 Stanley Cup playoffs. It was a hard fought 6 game series and the road won't get any easier. The Stanley Cup playoffs are finally at hand and my favourite team, the Colorado Avalanche, started their run for the cup with an overtime win beating the Minnesota Wild 3-2. We're in Wenatchee, WA this weekend for a hockey tournament for Jock. It's hard to believe I haven't posted in such a long time. It's not like it takes a huge amount of time to make a post.  This is where we stayed for Laura's birthday. Our friend Loren flew us over to Friday Harbour in his Lake Renegade plane. We flew in to the airport instead of landing on the water, hopped out of the plane and walked to the bed and breakfast. The owners were very nice and the place was beautiful. It was a great overnighter, too bad we couldn't stay longer.
